This LP Texas X Air Rite air compressor has been designed to operate at the balance point between performance and reliability, giving you a rebuildable pump and a TRUE 5 hp motor/starter drive package for a price that Ingersoll Rand, Quincy, and Cambell Hausfeld sell you a CHEATER 5 hp motor and throw-away pump.

The 60 Gallon tank is adequate for continuous use of the air compressor on any single air tool, including blast cabinets. It was chosen to give the air pump the correct run-stop duty cycle so that heat will not be an issue. By the time you have used enough air to lower the pressure from 175 PSI to 135 PSI, the compressor pump is ready for more work.
The compressor pump we chose is the LPW8060AT. It is a three cylinder, two stage pump with disc valves. This is a completely rebuildable pump, and we stock the rebuild kits available. With 3 cylinders to do the same work as the more common two cylinder units, you are spreading out the work. The W design also allows cooling on all 4 sides of each cylinder. This helps with gasket life as well as ring life, because you don't get heat build-up between cylinders like in a parallel design.
Please inspect the compressor for shipping damage when you receive it. The most common problem with shipping these items is that freight companies will damage the item and our customers will not see the damage until after they have signed off that the unit is received in good condition. Please take the time to inspect the compressor, fittings and pressure switch before you sign the Bill of Lading and make note of any damage on the Bill.
